Who We Are
Goodman Capital is a private equity firm founded in 2013, based in Singapore. Our principals have a strong passion for investments in early-stage and fast-growth businesses and markets and entrepreneurship. We leverage our deep experiences in specific sectors, as well as investing, management, strategy, and operations, and seek to take a active approach to growing the businesses we invest in.
Geographic Focus
Emerging Asian markets, where our team has decades of experience in doing business and investing, are a key area of focus. In particular, we are currently operating extensively in Myanmar and Indonesia. We are excited about the enormous potential of both countries; Myanmar as it liberalises and the part we can play in developing Myanmar's economy for its citizens, and Indonesia given its vast population, resources, and recent political developments. We are committed to our investments and markets for the long-term. We are differentiated in that we have deep local relationships and actual experience sourcing and closing deals that have yielded fast-growing businesses and strong valuation gains.
We also invest in developed markets where we have lengthy experience. We have been big believers in the strength of the US economy, which has driven our recent activities in real estate development in California and other major states.
Sector Focus
Given our diverse range of experiences, we are open to investing in a range of sectors. Currently, our activities have centered more around real estate, natural resources, consumer products, e-commerce, and biotech.
How We Invest
We primarily invest our principals' capital directly. We also have established co-investors who may participate on our deals alongside us.
